Changing Minds believes our Lived Experience is our strength. We support you and your communities to have your say on what matters to you, in a way that is by, for, and with Tāngata Mātau ā-wheako, people with Lived Experience of mental distress, addiction or substance harm.

Valuing and privileging Lived Experience knowledge is central to improving hauora wellbeing for all Aotearoa.

Mapping the Wellbeing System

Changing Minds is leading a 16 month project on behalf of Mānatu Hauora | The Ministry of Health to understand how government systems and services impact our wellbeing. With the support of our Lived Experience communities advisory group and wider Lived Experience community we will design, test and complete interviews with more than 100 people around Aotearoa. Insights from this mahi will be used to visualise experiences across a wide range of government systems that affect our wellbeing.
