The project is to be delivered by mental health and addiction Lived Experience organisations. These have been selected through a Government tender process.

Lived Experience organisations Changing Minds, Te Kete Pounamu, Balance Aotearoa, and Thriving Madly will collaborate to deliver the design project. They will be supported in the project by Synergia.

Changing Minds is leading the project.

Changing Minds are a charitable trust embedded within local and national Lived Experience communities. We have proven experience in Lived Experience-led research, community engagement, and enabling the strategic voice of the community.

Te Kete Pounamu (TKP) is a national Māori Lived Experience rōpū that exists to uplift the voices, knowledge, and aspirations of tāngata Māori with lived realities of hauora hinengaro and addiction.

TKP recognises that Māori Lived Experience perspectives arise from the unique historical, cultural, and social context of tāngata whenua in Aotearoa. For this reason, Māori Lived Experience leadership reflects the responsibilities and rights of Māori as tāngata whenua, consistent with the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi.

Balance Aotearoa is a member of the Disabled People's Organisations Coalition, representing people with psychosocial disability within the Wanganui region and on a national scale. They have proven experience in advocacy, consultancy, and education grounded in Lived Experience and community connection.

Thriving Madly is a charitable trust that focuses on community transformation through connection. They have substantive experience of being Lived Experience community connectors throughout Ōtautahi Christchurch and Te Waiponamu.
