Community Kōrero tikanga

Along with our general event tikanga, here are the values and practices that Changing Minds have in place for our Community Kōrero Share Space session—

News Desk

Your Changing Minds Facilitator will share updates from the team for the first ten minutes of this session – this is the Changing Mind’s News Desk! The facilitator will be spotlighted for this sharing, and it will be recorded for publishing online following the session. This recording will not include participants, to protect privacy and anonymity. We ask that you turn mics off for this segment, and save questions for the kōrero that follows.

This is a collaborative kōrero

After our New Desk segment is finished, the kōrero opens to everyone! Opportunities for connection and collaboration are our goal, so feel free to ask questions, offer your own insight, and share how you would like to be involved in Lived Experience mahi! At Changing Minds we believe everyone is the leader of their own pathways. We shape our mahi around community, so YOU are the most important drivers of what we do.

It’s ok to leave!

Got what you need from the session? Ka pai! Feel free to come and go as you like. Whether you want to stay for the full hour or just the ten minute News Desk, you can decide when it’s time to go and how you want to engage!
